Configure PRO subscription

The tutorial to work with CashCtrl PRO subscription. Renew subscription, change number of users and clients, cancel, log in.

1. Subscription overview

The current subscription can be viewed at the top right via Settings Subscription or via User Subscription.

The overview shows the current subscription period, the current usage of users and organizations and storage space.

Via the menu on the right you can:

  • Renew the subscription
  • Downgrade back to FREE
  • Purchase options
  • View previous invoices and download them in PDF format
  • Make a support request

2. Purchase options

CashCtrl is expandable. Here, additional users can be purchased or an additional accounting/client can be opened. Select the number and confirm with Continue. For the current period only the remaining time will be calculated.

In the next step you will be redirected to the checkout, where you can choose between the payment methods stripe (credit card) or Postfinance (credit card, Postfinance, Twint). For payment by invoice please send a message to the support.

3. Renew subscription and adjust number of users / organizations

Click on Renew now to open the dialog box. Here you can define the period for the next subscription, you can choose between 6 months, 1 year or 2 years.

The number of users and organizations can also be adjusted here. If less than the previously paid quota is used, CashCtrl automatically reduces the number to the smallest possible number. Users can be added and removed under Settings Users & Roles (Go to tutorial ).

In addition, the currency of the invoice can be selected here (CHF, EUR, USD).

4. No more access / empty background. What happened?

If the screen after login looks like the screenshot on the right, then this can have three reasons:

  1. Your PRO subscription has expired and the renewal dialog that automatically appears after  login has been clicked away.
  2. You are accessing a PRO organization as a FREE user? Then the owner of the PRO subscription has not yet renewed it.
  3. You have deleted your own organization and must first create one again.

5. Downgrade to FREE

Via "Downgrade to FREE" the PRO account is changed to a FREE account. This restricts access to one client (the first organization) and blocks all additional organizations. PRO functions are no longer available. However, the accounting can still be viewed.

Since we are always trying to offer you the best product, we take the liberty to ask you briefly about the reason for the downgrade.
