How do the CashCtrl accounts work?

In CashCtrl several users can work together in one organization. Here we explain how this works and how users are assigned.

1. CashCtrl FREE Account

The CashCtrl FREE account consists of a user and an organization (client) of which the user is the owner. This configuration is free of charge and available after registration. The FREE user cannot be extended with additional clients or users.

However, a FREE user can be invited to one or more other organizations, in addition to his own, if their owners have a PRO account.

2. Multitenancy with CashCtrl PRO

CashCtrl PRO consists of 3 or more users (1 owner + 2 additional) and 2 organizations (clients). The owner always has access to all organizations in his account.

The organisations are separate from each other and stored in separate databases. They do not share any information (e.g. contacts, inventory).

New users can be created by inviting them (see 4.). A user can have access to several or just one organisation.

3. CashCtrl Enterprise

CashCtrl Enterprise offers the greatest possible freedom, as users and organisations can be created at will - without having to pay for each additional option individually. CashCtrl Enterprise includes a contractually agreed number of users and organisations.

This means that a trust company can manage a large number of clients or a school can invite an entire class to its own organisations at once.

4. Add / invite users

New users are added in the respective organization. The email address must be specified and a role must be selected. CashCtrl then sends an email with the credentials.

Users do not have to register before to be invited.

If an account already exists under the invited email address, invitees will be informed that a new organization is now available for selection. This can be accessed via the existing login.
