Set up chart of accounts

Enter accounts that are common in the industry and compile the chart of accounts before posting. The accounting department is initially equipped with a standard SME chart of accounts for this purpose. This can be adapted or completely changed at any time.

Edit accounts

By double-clicking on an account, it becomes editable and the Edit field opens. Here you select a tax rate (for example, for a revenue account), define targets (budgets) or add notes. Change, delete or create accounts as required. To delete an existing account, no postings may reference it. You are free to choose the names of the accounts.

If you are unable to decide on a chart of accounts, we recommend that you enter into dialogue with friends or companies from the same industry. A well thought-out chart of accounts pays off and provides a much better overview of financial movements.
